I'm trying something new this week.

Nearly every Thursday, I reach out to a friend of mine (or five) and read them my newsletter draft for feedback. Bless them all.

And for the third week in a row a different friend has suggested that I record my voice and share my stories that way.

I'm going into my biggest summer of teaching, and live storytelling is something I want to get really good at. Mostly because I think it's going to make me a better teacher, but also because I think it's a cool skill to have.

So instead of having you read the newsletter this week, I'm asking that you take the time to listen to it instead.

I won't do this every week, but I did want to give it a try this time around. So, hear goes nothing--I'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback after listening. :)

For those that were able to give it a listen, I wanted to share some old photo's of Jerry's Bait Shop, so you can see where all the magic happened. :)

(As it turns out, I misremembered part of this story--it was actually 29 years that August and Spirit Daddy had been coming in, not 49. But 49 did sound awesome.)
